We've been working with Niletech for years now. They have provided technical solutions, support and assistance on the delivery of key projects for us during this time period. We've always found to be competent, professional and flexible in their approach to delivering.

Creative Scotland Opportunities platform
Can a small studio handle a large project? Yes. You work directly with the senior developer building your system, work is delivered in clear phases, and continuity is designed in from day one.
Proven technologies. Laravel is home ground; everything else is chosen to fit your team and hosting
What we’re learning. Practical notes on web applications, AI and digital projects
Good questions to ask a software developer
The things buyers usually want to know before they commission bespoke software.
What happens if you’re unavailable?
Your code, documentation and hosting accounts are held in your name and kept up to date, so another developer could take over if needed. Continuity arrangements are written into every support agreement.
How much does a project cost?
Small projects start from a few thousand pounds; larger platforms are scoped after a fixed-price discovery. You always get a written estimate before any work starts.
Do we own the code?
Yes. You own the code, the repository and the hosting accounts from day one.
Can you work with our existing systems?
Usually, yes. Integrating and modernising existing systems is a large part of what we do.
Do you work with the public sector?
Yes. We built and host the Creative Scotland Opportunities platform, and as a subcontractor we developed the Land and Buildings Transaction Tax calculators on the Revenue Scotland website. Our company details are ready for procurement checks.
How do you use AI safely with our data?
We agree what data AI can access, keep it in UK or EU hosting where required, and never use your data to train public models.
