Questions about replacing spreadsheets and Access

Is Microsoft Access being discontinued?

Not entirely. Access is still part of some Microsoft 365 plans, but Access 2016 and Access 2019 reached the end of Microsoft support on 14 October 2025, so they no longer get security updates. Many Access databases also depend on one person who knows how they work. That is often the bigger risk.

Can you move our existing data out of spreadsheets or Access?

Yes. We map your existing spreadsheets or Access tables, clean up duplicates and gaps, and move the data into the new system. We rehearse the move and check the results with you before the old files are retired.

Can we keep using Excel for reports?

Yes. Many teams still like working in Excel. We can add exports to Excel or CSV, or scheduled reports by email, so people get the figures they need while the data itself is kept safely in one place.
