TicketPal is a UK ticketing service founded in 2015 by James Gordon, after he saw the problems his local theatre company had with ticketing. It is built for charities, community groups, local theatres, schools and independent promoters who want control over their ticket sales and their money.

What the platform needed to do
Many ticketing platforms hold the organiser’s money until after the event. For a small theatre company or charity, that can make cash flow difficult. TicketPal needed to pay organisers as tickets sell, keep fees simple and give organisers the tools to run an event from sale to door.
What we built
We built the TicketPal platform. Organisers create events and choose whether to pass fees on to buyers or absorb them. Ticket revenue is processed through the organiser’s own connected Stripe account as sales are made, so organisers do not wait for the platform to release their money after the event.
Organisers can set up interactive seating plans and multiple performances, create promo codes and tracked links, scan QR code tickets or use a door list, and download financial reports. Venues and theatres can use an enterprise option with multiple venues and their own domain.
Technology
Built with Laravel and MySQL.
